[How-To] Where to track your China Post or Hong Kong Post parcel tracking number

How To Track Your Parcels

If you have ordered something from a website like DHGate, Alibaba, Aliexpress, Dealextreme, Ebay, etc and the seller issued you a Tracking No for your item, you can check the status and location of your parcel on this site
http://www.17track.net/

Regardless of which courier company is sending the mail, it will be able to search on your behalf, something like what Google does for you for the internet. It is able to check more than just China Post or Hong Kong Post - the two most commonly used postal agents by sellers in the above mentioned websites - which by the way can be very slow.

Unless of course if the seller gave you a dud tracking number (which do happens sometimes, due to error or fraud).

Do take note that the updating of tracking information onto the internet is not immediate - sometimes the information is updated 2-3 days after the parcel left the post office, so do not be alarmed.
