One of the main highlight of this game which I particularly enjoy is the battle with the Jelly Queen. It becomes like a game of chess as you take turns with the Jelly Queen to unveil the hidden marshmallows called Pufflers or to spread your jelly over the game board.



Here are some of my personal tips for Candy Crush Jelly Saga.



When you are playing the Pufflers battle with the Jelly Queen, there are a few things to note. As you are taking turns with the Jelly Queen, you must ensure that your moves do not allow her to take advantage of the game when she takes the next turn. For example, if you leave the next move for her to just flip open the last jelly to reveal the Puffler, it will be to your detriment. Creating special jelly on your turn will force her to miss a turn.



If you are playing the battle to spread the jelly over the board, make sure you are matching the jellies with at least one of them on a tile with your colour in order to spread the jelly. If you are matching with no tiles of your own but that of the Jelly Queen, you end up spreading the Queen's colour instead.

Similarly, creating special jellies will make her miss her turn. Creating 3 special jellies in a row will fill up the entire board with your colour, winning the game for yourself.



In this game, I find the jelly fishes only useful if used when there are few tiles left to clear. So don't be in a hurry to use them, use them strategically.

Candy Crush Level 95

For Level 95, candies will exit from the bottom of the lowest row in the middle columns and into the lower portion on the extreme left & right columns. The arrows pointing down is showing where they will exit.
The trick is to get the cherries and hazelnuts to the extreme left or right columns and then get them out of the system by using horizontal striped candies or other combos to blast away candies blocking the exits.
Plenty of big blasting action on the lower half of the board would help to pave the way for the cherries and hazelnuts to filter down and out of the board.

Level 463 - The most ridiculous level on Candy Crush, yet!

If you have thought that tornadoes were causing ridiculous difficulty on Candy Crush, wait till you try Level 463.

Flickrshare hereby declares Level 463 as the most difficult level so far!

Firstly, there are way too many jellies to clear for a paltry 15 moves, yes you read it right, 15 moves!

Secondly there are mysterious candies that create more jellies when matched!

The only thing you can do is to match combos.

Most effective in this round is the wrapped and stripped combo. You will get plenty of these two candies in this level, however, to lay them nicely next to each other is difficult because the cascading candies may blow up your wrapped candies before your move.

Second most effective which is harder to get is a stripped and rainbow candy combo.

If you are lucky enough, a wrapped and wrapped combo is also useful. But I think its hard to get them in this level.

So far, I see the only method to clear this level is by utter destruction and HOPE FOR THE BEST!

There are plenty of fishes around but they are not effective because they don't really do much to clear the important jellies which are unreachable.

That's right, this level is mainly luck based.

Clear the cupcake tiles first 

Prioritize your moves to clear the cupcake tiles in the middle column and the bottom & sides first. 

Leave cascading candies to take care of the rest

Clearing the cupcake tiles early means more candies on board for you to make your moves, giving you more options. The other jelly tiles can be secondary as the cascading candies can help you to clear some, if not all of them. 

Use Combos

Stripped candies can also be helpful to help you clear the cupcake and jelly tiles, so use them where it makes the most useful impact. Even more useful are combos of stripped and wrapped candies. Use these combo to clear massive amount of jellies!

[Candy Crush Saga] How To Clear Level 335 of Candy Crush Saga

Objectives of Level 335

The objective of Level 335 in Candy Crush Saga is to collect two rainbow sprinkles. Two rainbow sprinkles already exist on board at the start, covered by a layer of jelly and surrounded by icing cupcakes that require some blasting to get through.

The objective is made difficult by the changing colour candy and the locked candies that block your way to the rainbow sprinkles.

About Changing Colour Candy

Take note that the changing colour candies only alternate between two colours, so if you miss making a match with it and it turned into another colour, just make another move elsewhere (so that it does not mess up your planned move) and it will come back to the same colour again.

How to Clear Level 335 Candy Crush

The most straightforward way is to get to the existing 2 rainbow sprinkles on board. To do this, you need to break your way down to the two bottom corners.

However, this way requires some luck and may not always work as you may not reach the rainbow sprinkles before you run out of moves.

It is possible to create rainbow sprinkles on your own. To improve your chances of doing so, break open the locked candies as soon as you can so that you have more space to move. I find this to be a more likely way to clear this level. So always keep a lookout for 5-match possibilities.

Meanwhile, it does no harm to damage as many candies as you can with combos - so create stripped and wrapped candies along the way to smash your way through.

How to clear Level 455 of Candy Crush Saga

Level 455 requires you to collect 120 each of red, blue and orange candies. This is a naturally high scoring game, it is more difficult to stay in the game without having a time bomb explode on you than to collect enough of the required colour candies.

The difficult part here is the two bars at the left and bottom which is filled with jelly and is hard to reach. This level has a particularly high number of time bombs which will reappear after you have cleared them.

There are half a dozen of rainbow sprinkles that are locked in jellies to help you.

Always keep an eye out for time bombs that are in danger of exploding soon. 

The key to this level is to use the rainbow sprinkles at the right time and only when necessary.

To reach the rainbow sprinkles locked in the jelly, you need to use stripped candies. Be careful not to waste the rainbow sprinkles that have no more jelly by blasting a stripped candy at them. I would also not advise clearing the bottom row - where the rainbow sprinkles are located - too early in the game. This is because time bombs may cascade down and will stay there. It is very difficult to get rid of them once they have sunk to this bottom row and you are left with stripped candies to help you.

Leave the rainbow sprinkles untouched, if you can, until when you have a time bomb that is exploding soon. Make use of the rainbow sprinkle at the right time to save your game from ending prematurely by exploding time bombs. Furthermore, new time bombs will keep appearing for the entire game. Save some rainbow sprinkles for later stages of the game when you could not reach some of the time bombs about to explode.

There is also opportunities to create rainbow sprinkles within the active game board and if you can do so, try to match it with a stripped candy as it would help to collect more candies rather than matching the rainbow sprinkle with a colour.

Make as many explosive moves as you can within the active game board to help you run down the number of candies to collect.

You may end up with two rainbow sprinkles side by side. Save it till one of the time bomb is about to explode, then unleash the fury of clearing the entire board - it destroys the time bombs and help to rack up the coloured candies.

Tips and guide for Level 140 of Candy Crush Saga

This level requires you to clear 99 each of yellow, red and orange candies. The difficultly here lies in the number of moves given at the start. You will not pass this level if you just match 3 candies only with each and every move. 

Tip 1 - Make use of cascading candies to make chain moves

Hence some strategizing is required to ensure that there is a chain of reaction for each move you make so that you clear more candies with each move (best if the candies are of the required colours).

Tip 2 - Create stripped candies

Stripped candies clear more candies with each move. Try to create them with every opportunity that you have. An additional tip is not to trigger them but let cascading candies help to trigger them. This way, you save on moves for those that would create matches when the candies cascade down.

Tip 3 - Rainbow sprinkles

This should be the top priority in every move. Scan for opportunities to create them before you look for other possible moves. Match them with any stripped candy or the most candies on the board for your required colour. If you have any particular colour with many left uncleared, you can also use for the colour - note that you will not clear the level even if you clear all but 1 of the required colours.

Tip 4 - Use Extra Moves from your friends

If you get stuck long enough, Candy Crush will send messages to your friends to help you by sending you extra moves for the level. 1. I have found one trick that can help here. When you initially open the game, it will of course show you all the lives sent to you from friends. As you play, you use up those lives. It seems that the new lives you earn from friends as you're playing don't show up until you reload the browser. I just play through those five lives (plus any I've earned from the timer), and then reload the browser. I keep a separate browser tab open while I'm online just for Candy Crush for this purpose. ~ Candy 
2. I usually just close the message that is saying I have lives from friends by pressing the X. Then when I'm out of lives I go back to the home screen with the map and open the message then collect the lives. ~ Elehuak 
3. Free lives........just change the date on whatever device you are playing on....Run out of lives just move ahead a day in the date/settings

5. I've found that if you don't accept or x out of the screen where you get lives &extra moves from friends on your mobile device you can save as many as you want & you won't lose them. They just sit in your mail box until you are ready to use them. But I have noticed that sometime I can use extra moves & sometimes they don't work. But it always works on extra lives. ~ GinaTom 
6. I realized that the horizontal striped candies are generated when you make a vertical row of four and the vertical striped candies when you make a horizontal row of four...~ Cmack

Whenever you start a level ( don't make any move yet ) on the mobile version of CC , you can actually hit the arrow button on the bottom left to display the option menu and select exit just to bring you back to the world map then enter back where you left off......purpose of doing this is to shuffle the candy placement on the level you are currently on. Before you make any move pan around the whole candy placement, look for any possible combo moves, if its doesn't favour you just hit exit and come back again without touching any candy. ~ Taperpon 
8. Never pay for more lives.......If you run out of lives uninstall the app and then re install as long as you have it hooked on with you facebook it will automatically take you to the last level you were on. ~ CDMarie

Tip for Android Users - I was changing the date and then uninstalling and reinstalling for extra lives for a long time but i figured out if u just go to manage applications and hit clear data on the candy crush app, then go to play the game, it starts up as if u did uninstalling / reinstall. U just connect to Facebook and u are just where u left off with 5 new lives. (android phone) Alot quicker and easier than the other way. What is the pink ribbon and +3 Extra Moves in Candy Crush?

This is not to be confused with the +5 Moves booster which you need to purchase and which you can choose to purchase at any time during a game. This post is talking about the +3 Extra Moves Boosters in Candy Crush Saga which you can send to your friends for free.

An explanation to +3 Extra Moves boosters, pink bow or pink ribbon in Candy Crush Saga

An extra move booster gives you additional 3 moves to the game. Each booster can only be used for one game. A disadvantage of this booster is that you have to choose whether to use it before the game, rather than during the game when you know that you just need a few more moves and you could clear the level. Hence the usefulness of this extra moves booster is kinda limited. Sometimes when you chose to use it, the game board is so unfavourable that you will never clear that level even if it is a 10 extra moves booster!

That said, an Extra Moves booster does not cost you money as it is sent to you from your friends, like extra lives.

When you receive an Extra Moves booster from your friend, a pink ribbon bow will show up on the level to show you that you have available Extra Moves booster to use.

How to send or receive +3 Extra Moves boosters from your friends

There is no way for you to ask for extra moves from your friends. However, when you are stuck for a couple of days on a particular level, the game will prompt YOUR friends to send you extra moves. 

If you notice when you start Candy Crush, there will be a window asking you whether you wish to send Extra Moves booster to your friends - for eg. so and so is stuck on Level 132 for 15 days. Check it with a tick and an Extra Moves booster will be sent to your friend.

So do not expect to receive Extra Moves for every level from your friends, especially if you are "not stuck for long enough", so to speak.

How to use the extra moves boosters from your friends

Extra moves given by your friends are specifically meant for that level only. 
If you received extra moves from your friends for a level, you would see a pink ribbon before you start the game as one of the options of boosters for you to choose. 
You may select it and your next game for the same level will have 3 extra moves. 
Take note : you must select it before you start the game, you cannot select it in mid-game. The Extra Moves given to you for a particular level can only be used for that same level.

This is one of the killer levels of Candy Crush Saga.

Obviously so, in this level, there are multiple obstacles in your way -

1. Time bombs
2. Icing Cupcakes that need to be cleared to make way for more candies
3. Huge number of blue candies order
4. Wrapped & Stripped candies combo - wrapped candies are hard to come by
5. Tornados to disrupt your game 

Hint Guide Strategy to Level 425

Clear the icing cupcakes as early as you can

From the onset, you should be clearing the icing cupcakes as soon as you can, so that you can reach the time bombs and clear them before they explode and end your game.

Have wrapped candies ready

It is handy to have wrapped candies ready, so along the way, if you spot any opportunity to create a wrapped candy, just do so and leave it on the board if you have no stripped candy next to them. This is because it is quite easy to get stripped candies in this level but wrapped candies are harder to come by, so get them ready in case so that when a stripped candy lands next to the wrapped candy, match them to fulfill your orders. I find that fulfilling the stripped and wrapped candy combo is the more difficult to fill order for this level. While collecting the blue candies may seem like a tall order, it can be done, especially if you have a rainbow sprinkle or two that you can use it to swap with a blue candy.

Don't wait to swap the stripped / wrapped candy 

Do not defer the chance if you have a stripped and wrapped candy next to each other. Just swap them as soon as you can, otherwise the tornadoes will come and spoil your grand plans! Do not leave it to chance because the tornadoes can and they will come to mess it up! Just swap them and worry about the rest later.

Watch out for the time bombs

Do not forget about time bombs as well as they have a relatively short fuse. Leave it too late and your game will be ended prematurely.

How to clear Level 70 of Candy Crush Saga

The Brief

To clear the jellies on the right hand columns.

The Obstacles 

Reincarnating chocolate blocks that threaten to cover up the right hand columns
Locked candies that prevent candies from cascading down from the left hand columns

Tips and Strategy for Candy Crush Level 70

This level may need a few tries but if you follow the tips and strategy here, should be able to clear it soon enough.

1. Firstly, prioritize your game. The first thing you need to do is to clear the locked candies as soon as you can because once that happens, it opens the flood gates for the candies on the left to cascade down and you have more options on the right hand columns.
2. Then, you should try to clear the chocolate blocks before they engulf the entire right hand columns. Should that happen, you probably have to try the level again as it is almost impossible to do it. Do note that once all chocolate candies are cleared, they will not reappear, so getting them all out early would make your life easier.
3. Since all the jellies are all on the right hand columns, you should make all available moves on the right hand columns until you run out of moves, then you look at the left hand columns. Remember, the goal is to clear the jellies and you dont have the luxury of moves to do anything else.
4. On the left hand columns, creating horizontal stripped candies should be your goal as these can help to clear some tiles on the right hand side once they are triggered. Vertical stripped candies are only useful when triggered on the right hand columns.
5. If you are lucky to get a wrapped candy, resist the temptation to trigger it, wait for it cascade to the right hand side where it is more useful when triggered. That is unless you have a perfectly placed stripped and wrapped candy next to each other on the left hand block, if triggering the combo can help you to clear 3 horizontal lines of jellies on the right hand block, by all means, use it! That said, a wrapped/stripped candy combo would do more damage if triggered on the right hand columns, so think wisely before you jump.

How to clear Candy Crush Saga Level 376

Level 376 requires you to bring ingredients down but there is a huge chunk of chocolates and cupcakes blocking the exit. There is a candy pizza that helps you to a limited extend.

The Strategy 

Useful combo moves :-
Wrapped & Stripped Candy Combo,
Rainbow & Wrapped Candy Combo and
Stripped & Stripped Combo.

Clear the pizza early, make room for candies to cascade to the block of columns on the right.

Destroying the pizza early in the game can help to cascade the candies to the block on the right as it clears away the chocolate tiles and help blast off the first layer off the cupcakes. Getting candies to the block on the right will then allow you to destroy the cupcakes. So the earlier you make room for candies to cascade to the right, the more options you have in your moves and you can start destroying the cupcakes earlier.

To trigger the pizza, you can only use vertical stripped candies and/or wrapped and stripped candy combo. It can be easier than you think because it is rather easy to create wrapped and stripped candies for this level.

The consolation is that this level offers plenty of opportunities to create wrapped / stripped candies and even rainbow candies because of the limited number of colours used in this level.

The Challenge

Likelihood of ending this level with not enough moves to bring down all the ingredients is very high. Do not waste your moves making unnecessary moves that would not aid your game strategy for this level.

It is inevitable that the ingredients will land on the top row of the square icing cupcakes, making it difficult to remove the cupcakes that are blocking the way to the exit. Hence you can only depend on vertical stripped candies or the combos mentioned above to blast your way through to the exit.

There are a lot of cupcakes to clear on each column before the ingredients can drop to the exit, so you need to expend lots of moves.

Draw Something 2 is another game which I play regularly, in fact, daily. I am always amazed by the top quality drawings by some talented artists which are featured on the gallery section.

In Draw Something 2, the wider the variety of drawing tools available to you, the better you can draw. To unlock the drawing tools, you need coins which you can earn by playing with other people and stars which you can earn by playing the Daily Guess and Daily Draw games for a 5 days consecutive streak to earn a maximum of 5 stars for each.

Daily Draw is really there to reward you with the coins and stars, you just need to draw anything and click on submit, they will give you the reward anyway.

Daily Guess, on the other hand, is more tricky. If you happen to stumble on one day's Daily Guess, you would have to start your streak all over again and the payout for the initial streak is just a few measly coins.

Level 97 looks deceptively easy, however, it is difficult to reach the targeted score to get at least a star and pass the level. 

Target : High Scoring Moves

The focus for this level is to rake up high scoring moves, that means, you try to form all the massive combos you can with stripped, wrapped, rainbow, whatever you can lay your hands on. 

High Scoring Moves include : 

1. Wrapped & Stripped Candy Combo, 
2. Wrapped & Wrapped Combo, 
3. Rainbow & Wrapped Candy Combo and 
4. Stripped & Stripped Combo.

Watch Out : Time Bombs

The time bombs are aplenty in this level and they detonate very quickly too, so you need to attend to them rather early to avoid ending the game prematurely. 

The Secret 

1. The good news is that this level offers plenty of opportunities to create wrapped and stripped candies.
2. Secondly, time bombs gives you 6,000 points when you destroy them. Making a combo move that destroys a few time bombs together can score some major points.
3. Rather than waste your last few moves on matching the stripped candies or wrapped candies, concentrate on making more special candies if possible. This is because when the game ends, the finale will help you to auto activate these remaining special candies on board, saving you some moves!
4. Some players say that playing this on Desktop is easier than iOS, so if you have access to Desktop version, try it.

Currently as a promotion for the new Despicable Me 2 movie, Draw Something 2 is giving away 20 coins for each guess of the word "Minion".

[Candy Crush] How to clear level 342 of Candy Crush Saga

Level 342 of Candy Crush Saga is the toughest level I have personally encountered so far (up to Level 380). Took me about a week to finally clear it. It requires some bit of luck and some strategy to give you the best chance of clearing it.



Watching Youtube videos of people clearing the level make it seems like it is easy to clear. Unfortunately it is more difficult than it seems. Moreover, it is not that helpful a guide as the candy layout on the game board is never the same for each game, even for the same level. There is no way you can duplicate their moves on your game board and clear your own game.

Having a strategy might help but even if you play to the strategy religiously, you still need some luck to help you clear it. Here are some tips to clear this level.

Tips to clear level 342 of Candy Crush Saga

• The jellies hidden under the icing cupcakes are random for each game of level 342 and there is no way to tell which of them is hiding a jelly. 
• Thats why a strategy to leave the jelly fishes until the end is required, because that is the only way to clear the hidden jellies. Using them too early would waste them on clearing the easier to reach jellies hidden under the top layers of cupcakes. 
• You will not be able to crack all of the cupcakes within the normal moves allocated, so do not bother. 
• Concentrate on clearing the top first line of cupcakes, it will make your task much easier. But don't neglect the visible jellies on board too, especially the top row. 
• Using mega combos like matching strip with wrapped candies would also help in destroying the harder to reach cupcakes. A fish matched with a rainbow sprinkles would also help because it will mutate into many fishes and help clear a lot of tiles! 
• If you are able to leave the fishes untouched until you have cleared the top line of cupcakes, you should be able to clear this stage. Avoid matching the fishes too early if you can help it, if you really must match the fishes, match it with a stripped candy or wrapped candy for more mileage. 
• Finally, don't give up! Candy Crushers are not quitters!

Improve your Bejeweled Blitz scores with these easy tips and hints.

Now that Bejeweled Blitz is out on Android, I bet there are more players coming on to this game. Here is a quick guide for the new players to help them keep up to speed with their friends.

Bejeweled Blitz Tips & Hints

I will go through the various types of special gems/boosts that you can get in Bejeweled Blitz (Some parts extracted from Wikipedia) and how to make the best out of them.

Special Gems, Rare Gems & Boosts in Bejeweled Blitz 

Special Gems

Flame gems - you get it for matching 4 in a row. Creates an explosion when it is matched with same colour gems.

Lightning gems - matching 6 gems in a T or L shaped formation. Lightning strikes the horizontal and vertical rows when matched with same colour gems.

Hypercubes - for matching 5 in a row. Clears all gems of the same colour when swapped with a gem. When swapped with another diamond gem, all the gems get cleared.

Multiplier gems - Appears when you clear 12 gems in one move. Match these and your scores will multiply with the factor that you have accumulated so far. Maximum up to 8x. You will almost find it impossible to reach high scores of 700,000 and above, if you do not reach a x8 multiplier. 

Yellow Coin gems - match these to collect coins to purchase boosts.

Boosts

There are a few types of boosts that you can purchase with coins prior to a game. Max of 3 boosts in one game. Each boost last for 3 games.

From left to right - 

"?" starts a game with a random gem

"Explode" detonates all special gems at once, use only once per game.

"Scrambler" scrambles all gems on the board when activated. Use twice per game.

"Timer" adds a precious 5 more seconds to the game.

"x2 Multiplier" start the game with a x2 multiplier

Rare Gems

In addition to the basic gems, Bejeweled Blitz has five Rare Gems.

• Moonstone - When the game starts, players have three star gems. (Usual Price 15,000)
• Cat's Eye - During the Last Hurrah at the end of the game, the Multiplier value will triple and the cat will use the eye to get rid of any gems on the board, giving the player even bigger points. The game play is otherwise normal. (Usual Price 25,000)
• Kanga Ruby - When the game starts, a special playing field will appear which features red gems. Bruce, the Kanga Ruby Roo will appear on the screen as the game progresses. Each time the player match red gems, the meter increases. When the meter is full, Bruce attacks by using punches, kicks, and tail whips. At the Last Hurrah, Bruce will knock out any leftover gems, giving the player bigger points. The number of red gems is then multiplied by 100 Coins. There are three levels for this gem. (Usual Price 50,000)
• Blazing Steed - When the game starts, players receive an instant Blazing Speed and Flame Gems have much larger explosions. At the end of the game, a steed of horses will turn any gems into Flame Gems, giving the players extra points. (Usual Price 55,000)
• Phoenix Prism - This gem is a wild card and if matched with a colored gem, it removes any gems in a diagonal formation. At the end of the game, the Phoenix will appear and it will release feathers, which contains a coin bonus. Then, the player will receive a burn-up bonus, which adds 5,000 points times the multiplier to the player's subtotal.(Usual Price 75,000)

How To Move Faster in Bejeweled Blitz

Do you know that you can actually start making your moves even before the "1 minute, Go!" voice prompt? That alone adds another 1 - 2 seconds more of playtime. And if you make a match, while the gems are cascading down, you can still play another match elsewhere on the board! So save time, do not wait for the gems to finish its cascading before you make the next move, just carry on!


Think fast and match fast to accumulate a speed boost. This takes practice but having a speed boost in the background means your score will jump faster too. Continue a consistently fast streak long enough and you get a Blazing Steed, this is another way to rack up a high scoring streak.

Try to look around the area where you just made a match to see if the cascading gems land itself into a potential move. This way you don't waste time moving your eyeballs here and there, all over the board.

If you are stuck finding a match, use the magnifying glass to help you find matches. So always remember where is the magnifying glass position.

Always try your best to match 4, 5, 6 or more gems to get the special gems. The gems are useful to help you get Multiplier gems so you need as many as such gems you can get to match more gems in one move. 

Use cascade to your advantage

Planning your moves such that the resulting cascade will end up in matches is also a good strategy as the scores for matches are higher this way. A series of matches in one move can net you a handsome reward.

Match those Bejeweled Blitz multiplier gems early

Multiplier gems are the fastest and easiest way to rack up your scores, therefore, the earlier you get a higher multiplier, the faster your scores will rack up. You will rake up higher scores if you can get your multipliers earlier. It also gives you a better chance of getting the higher multipliers like x6, x7 & x8, if you start early in the game.

Always keep an eye on multiplier gems that have appeared and try to make your moves to set up for a match of these multiplier gems. If you are on a Blazing Streak, try to make matches near the multiplier gems, as the surrounding gems will also be destroyed when you make a match while on a Blazing Streak.
Do note that after a multiplier gem appears, there is a short rest period before you can get the next one - so, if you can help it, do not make a potential multiplier churning move immediately after you got a multiplier, save it for 1 or 2 moves later.

Use your hypercubes carefully

Before using your hypercubes, do a quick glance to see which colour gems appears most on the board, don't waste it matching with a colour that only has a few on the board. You can make use of hypercubes to match a colour of a gem with a multiplier on your board to help you clear the multiplier easily.

Improve your Bejeweled Blitz scores further with Rare Gems and Boosts

Boosts to buy :

If you have the coins to spare, I always like to start my game with 3 boosts :-

Detonator, Added Time and x2 Multiplier.

Detonator is useful when you have more than 2 multipliers on the board already, just use it to kill 2 birds with one stone and propel you to high scoring mode.

Added time is also useful as it gives you that extra bit more time to rack up an even higher score.

x2 multiplier - This is the most useful as it may take some time just to have a x2 multiplier appear. Try to match it early so that you can earn more points and rack up the rest of the multipliers faster. Remember, you can score up to 8x more points with multipliers.

I also recommend using all 3 boosts together for the best effect. After all, you would want to maximize your scores so you need all the boosts you can get. And when I do play with boosts, I will play them with a special gem like Cats Eye, Phoenix Prism or Blazing Steed. 

The other two boosts are rather useless to me, I don't recommend using them. 

Rare Gems :

I often use Cats Eye, Phoenix Prism and Blazing Steed.

To make my coins worth, I always use them 3 in a row as it gets cheaper if you use them consecutively (note : after the 3rd one, it goes back to normal price) and I always start the first game with a fresh boosts top up so that the next 3 games are with boosts & gems for maximum scoring chances.

Cats Eye is cheap for a start and if you manage to get a x8 multiplier by the end of the game, the last hurrah can be very lucrative as it is a x18 random shoot down of gems. That can add up as much as 200,000 points alone. I use Cats Eye when I am running low on coins.

Phoenix Prism is a luxury gem but it is the most powerful point booster. Matching the prisms can easily help you to get those multipliers gems out as it breaks a few gems at once. The prisms are like "joker cards" which can substitute for any colours - so match them in between or with 2 other gems of the same colour to get a match. At the end of the game, there is a chance of getting back some of your coins, ranging from 1,000 to 100,000 coins (depending on luck, but usually 1,000-10,000 points), so it is not as costly as it seems.

Blazing Steed is my favourite because of the cost - effect ratio. It is not too costly but it is effective in helping to get high scores. To make the best use of the Blazing Steed, I always match as fast as I can in the initial phase when the Blazing Steed is active and when multipliers appear, I will match gems around the multipliers hoping to smash the multipliers together. If you do it well, Blazing Steed helps you get a headstart to as high as x4 or x5 multiplier within the first few seconds, so once you hit such high multiplier early in the game, it is easy to generate high scores for that game. It is also possible to get another round of Blazing Steed later on in the game if you match fast enough, if you manage to do so, you can easily score 600,000 and above. The last hurrah is also a good score booster.

Get More Bejeweled Blitz Coins Hack

Remember to log in everyday to spin the jackpot. It is free coins on a daily basis. Even if you do not play, just open up the app to spin the coins. The best part is, if you log on from PC, iPad, iPhone, etc, each device allows you to spin once per day! 

Wait, thats not all, here is a little secret which I am going to share with you, after spinning, Log Out from your Facebook within the Bejeweled Blitz App's Menu, then go back and spin again, then Log In again to your Facebook! 

So you have effectively 2 spins per device per day! This trick works on iOS devices so far, does not work on computers. Try it on Android devices and let me know if it works!





Play as many games as you have time for, without using any boosts to accumulate coins for the big kill. Coin gems and multipliers will add coins to your kitty after each game. I like to play a few rounds without using any boosts or special gems at the start of each day to warm my reflexes up. Usually I won't get good scores without the boosts but these games would help me to accumulate coins and give a good practice/warm up.

Quite often, Bejeweled Blitz would have a Special Gems or Boosts sale and a particular gem or boost is on offer or even free, take advantage of the offer by using that gem instead to save your coins.

If you play Bejeweled Blitz using computers, logging in for 5 days consecutively to do the daily spin will get you a free Blazing Steed as well. Put it to good use as a Blazing Steed is worth 55,000 coins normally!

Candy Crush Saga is a pretty looking game similar to Jewel Mania. A match 3 game, you match pieces of candies together and sometimes with variations of the candies, you unleash powerful blasts. The difficulty comes in the limited number of moves for each level, ticking bombs, regenerating chocolate squares which blocks new candies from cascading down, and the cupcakes which takes a few blasts to clear them away. Sometimes you may also be required to swap two power candies with each other as a requisite to clear the stage, other Candy Crush Saga stages require you to clear the way for cherries and hazelnuts to filter down to the bottom.

The power candies include, the striped candies which clears horizontally or vertically, the wrapped sweets which create a blast in a square around it, the rainbow sprinkle doughnut which clears all candies of the same kind, the jelly fish which helps to clear selected candies when triggered and the pink crusted doughnut which turns candies into striped ones.

In addition to power candies, you also have power-ups for sale to help you, including a +5 moves when you have reached the end of the level and is short of moves to finish it.

As you get further ahead in this game, you will find it almost impossible to clear some stages. Therefore, to get really far in Candy Crush Saga, not only do you need plenty of time and patience, you would also need a deep pocket to purchase add ons to help you in your game.

Here are my 10 tips and cheats to play Candy Crush Saga...

Tip 1 - Stop playing this game or resist the urge to buy power ups

These add ons or power-ups mentioned above do not come cheap. Coupled with some almost impossible levels as you reach levels 100+, sometimes these power ups may not be even enough to help you clear the stage!

With this warning, you can now choose to stop playing this game altogether so as to save your heartbreak and also to preserve the health of your wallet or to continue playing at a slow progress or even remain stagnant. That is my very first and best tip I can give you for this game!

Tip 2 - Make use of the power of candies combo

Resist the urge to unleash the power candy as and when you have one. Wait for more to appear as swapping power candies with each other will release different kind of effects, you have to try to mix and match as you play along to find out which power candy will unleash which effect when swapped with another power candy.

I particularly like swapping the rainbow sprinkle with any power candy, especially rainbow sprinkle + pink crusted doughnuts combination.

Of course, rainbow sprinkle + rainbow sprinkle helps to clear every candy on the board (but not jellies which requires two blasts to clear)

Some other good combinations to bear in mind when you have the chance to unleash :-

Pink doughnuts + jelly fishes
Striped candy + wrapped candy

Tip 3 - Completing the level in minimal moves may not net you higher scores

If you are playing for high scores, if you are near to completing the level, you might want to drag the game a few more moves (if you have plenty of moves left unused) to create a few more power candies. When you finally make the finishing move, the game will unleash the remaining power candies on the board one by one and then create a power candy or jelly fish for each unused move left. Depending on the number of moves left, sometimes having too many moves left may not net you a good final score as when it comes to the final hurrah, some of the power candy effects may neutralize each other, thus preventing you from maximizing your score. This is esp true if you have more than 10 moves left.

Tip 4 - Clear chocolate squares

Chocolate squares will regenerate if you do not clear them and they can be a stumbling block if they are allowed to multiply and grow. If you are able to clear the board of all chocolate squares, they will not reappear anymore, allowing you to plan your moves in peace. However, in certain levels as you advance further, chocolate squares will regenerate no matter what, hence you still need to clear them promptly to fill your boards with as many candies as possible - more candies means more permutations to swap your candies.

Tip 5 - Clear time bombs

Don't wait. Clear them once you have the chance. If not, you will waste your effort if one of them explode as it means the end of the game.

Tip 6 - Study the board and plan your moves

Most of the stages are limited moves based instead of time based. Hence you have all the time in the world to consider your moves. Play them carefully.

When playing levels which requires you to cascade the cherries and hazelnuts, you need to study where are the exit points at the bottom of the board and how the cascade flows so that you do not waste moves matching candies which will not bring your cherries and hazelnuts nearer to the exit at all!

Tip 7 - Use striped candies to clear out of reach tiles

Some levels require you to clear the jelly from out of reach tiles. Play your striped candies carefully, dropping them to the horizontal or vertical level in line with these out of reach places, then match them. In some instances, this could be the only way to clear these tiles, i.e. using power combos or moves.

Tip 8 - Clear liquorice and locked candies as early as possible

Use striped combos to clear rows of locked candies quickly. Clearing them will allow more candies to cascade down, otherwise your moves are limited because locked candies don't get out of the way - they simply stay put until you unlock them by matching them in a row. Hence, clearing them will free you up and give you greater freedom and more movement choices.

Tip 9 - +5 Moves can help boost your final scores

If you have decided to spend money on Candy Crush Saga like no tomorrow, knowing that you are just a move away from finishing the level, buy a +5 move power up so that you have 5 added moves to your remaining moves. This will give you 5 additional power candies for the finale, helping you to score even more points at the last hurrah.

How are the stripes on striped candies in Candy Crush determined?

The stripes on the candy is actually determined by the move that resulted in the 4 in a row combination. For eg. If it is a upwards/downwards move that created the 4 in a row, then the resulting candy is vertically striped. Sometimes, due to cascading candies, you create a vertical row and the resulting striped candy is a vertical striped one. And another thing to note is that the candy that was moved to create the 4 in a row will turn into the striped candy.
